The best marketing is two things: story and experience. Creating cohesive and engaging brand stories inherently creates an audience who cares about your brand. My goal is to make Vendasta's stories resonate with our partners, and our people.

As the Director of Marketing at Rock & Bloom, I created full-scale marketing strategies for businesses across many verticals. From creative brief through to measurable results, my role required constant innovation, creativity, and business acumen. In my previous role as Director of Content at Vendasta, I was responsible for overseeing all inbound marketing initiatives across multiple platforms to drive engagement, sales, retention, demand generation and positive customer behaviour.

I am a data-driven marketer. I don’t use data to tell stories, but rather tell stories and use data to inform the narrative. The ideation, brainstorming and creative element of campaign planning is something I relish. Defining a goal and key metrics for success must follow, and optimizing marketing strategy based on data is essential. Having spoken at events locally and internationally, I have presented for audiences at FUZE, Young Women in Business, SMX (New York and Seattle), SREDA, SYPE, Tourism Saskatchewan, VendastaCon, and Ideas on Tap. In addition to presenting my own session, I created an award-winning program for a sold-out audience at VendastaCon, Vendasta’s conference in Austin, Texas, held in January, 2017.

Bringing out the creativity in those around me and creating a strategic approach to bring those ideas to life is my strength. Wherever I am, one of my greatest assets is always my team, the people I rely on for navigating the ever-changing landscape of marketing and brand management. Brand is in a state of perpetual change, constant flux. Managing this perpetual change with a combination of adaptability and rigidity to create a consistent, compelling and dynamic brand is a challenge I will meet with vigour and intensity.The best marketing is two things: story and experience.
