As you read through this please do not get confused on the different roles that I have performed. I have had a passion for learning and that’s what has driven me to pursue different roles like I do today.
I bring a unique blend of business experience, deep understanding of technology and managing large teams. I have worked with several companies (Albertsons, Supervalu, Best Buy and J C Penney) the commonality in all of them being they were all executing a turnaround plan.
I am a result oriented executive, with an investment career of over 30 years. I recently started my hedge fund (www.tapasyafunds.com). Alongside, I am a strategic advisor in 2 companies, start up in a disruptive space and an Analytics company.
In the past, I was an executive/officer at J C Penney leading pricing and marketing effectiveness. I played a key role in the pricing transformation at Best Buy during the turn around.
I am a technologist at heart, playing the role of the chief Data Warehouse Architect and Program Manager running one of the largest customer transformation programs at Best Buy.
I have also been a Sales and Pre-Sales leader while being fully engaged/billable on projects as a lead architect at Wipro working with clients such as Best Buy, Albertsons etc.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Poona, India. I live in Frisco, Texas with Smita (wife), Aryan (son) and Anya (daughter). Love to swim and pursuing US National times for my age group, play tennis exclusively with my kids and love to cook.
