Leadership & Financial Services:

Prue was selected to participate in the 2019 Equilibrium program designed to advance the careers of accomplished female leaders from a diverse range of industries into financial services. Prue has proven service and business leadership, natural people leadership and stakeholder management skills, a strong growth mindset, drive and autonomy.

Through the program Prue has gained experience in the Commercial Banking, critical risk functions and the Corporate & Business Development Data Partnerships team. She has made valuable contributions to exciting, project based work assignments and gained exposure to Westpac's project management methodologies and approaches. Throughout the program, Prue has successfully completed a variety of technical and financial services training modules, as well as advanced leadership development and communication programs.

Partnership and Technical Legal Experience:

Formerly a partner at national law firm Maddocks, Prue is experienced in contract negotiation, drafting, litigation and dispute resolution in environmental, property development and planning law. With over 15 years experience advising and representing government and private clients, Prue has appeared in the Supreme Court of NSW, the Land and Environment Court of NSW and the Court of Appeal as well as other Courts and Tribunals.

Prue's experience includes risk management, governance, privacy, data protection, due diligence, land use and zoning, land access, Voluntary Planning Agreements, merits review, judicial review, valuation and compulsory acquisition, as well as advising government on policy development and implementation and private clients on statutory interpretation and compliance. Prue also has extensive civil enforcement and prosecution experience.
