As Head of TODAY Parents, Digital, I oversee digital parenting content for the TODAY show and work with sales, marketing and other NBC Universal brands to coordinate integrated parenting content across platforms, as well as running the TODAY Parenting Team community platform and managing growth across social platforms. I've grown TODAY Parents' traffic from several thousand unique visitors a month to a destination that averages 14 million unique visitors a month, with engagement that towers over all other competitors in the digital parenting space.
I've created a highly engaged on-platform community, led several successful product launches, spearheaded TODAY editorial marketing efforts for Universal's most high-value releases, and served as an editorial liaison and leader on cross-media ad sales valued up to $5 million a year. All the while, I've worked closely with broadcast producers, talent and my own team of hand-picked freelancers to create the newsiest, most engaging parenting site on the internet -- with stories that touch hearts and get results.
My professional experience has taken me from walking the beat as a local reporter to online marketing, editing and community-building. I helped launch a highly successful daily lifestyle section for The Globe and Mail of Canada. I've written and edited for The Associated Press, The Charlotte Observer, The Daily Forward, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor and many others.
