I believe that technology exists to help people use data to make sense of the world around them and make smarter decisions to improve business and social outcomes. That's why I've spent the last 20+ years of my career helping customers optimize their use of data and analytic technologies.
At Oracle, I'm responsible for building global communities of practice in analytics. I serve on the Board of Regents at Loras College and am the founder of their Center for Business Analytics. I teach analytics at University of Oregon and am the Board Chair for Analytics at CalPoly and Oracle.
When I'm not doing data, I love to fly fish, grow hops and design beer recipes.
