She has led businesses from $100M to $8B+, teams up to 150 and budget from $30M to $150M while maintaining efficiency. Her creative work has received top industry awards and nominations.

Since starting with SimplePractice right at the cusp of the IPO, Smita has delivered 2X revenue growth upwards of $220M - '23 publicly reported (currently growing at 30% YOY and beating category growth by 3X) and more than doubled the customer base to 200K+. She transformed the marketing function, successfully recruited VP level functional leaders, and scaled the team by 2.5X to 60+ marketing professionals comprising of PMM, growth, pricing, lifecycle, PR and comms, in-house creative, research, web marketing, and analytics. She grew the budget by +300% while maintaining LTV/CAC> 16. She led 2 successful M&As delivering new revenue streams.

Prior to SimplePractice, Smita led growth/ Go-to-market for all SMB products at GoDaddy in the US, with revenue of ~$3B and a marketing budget of $175M. She has held leadership positions at Visa, PayPal and Intuit. At Visa, Smita led digital marketing for Visa Signature, a $186B payment volume credit card business.

Smita has built and led teams of 150+ in highly matrixed, cross-functional organizations across the US, India, Europe, and South Africa.
