I also drafted and negotiated sale and purchase agreements for businesses, including asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, and promissory notes. I leveraged my legal research and writing skills, as well as my knowledge of corporate law and governance, to deliver high-quality and timely services to clients. I also assisted the company in sales and marketing efforts, demonstrating my communication and interpersonal skills. Previously, I was an associate corporate counsel at Aptevo Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that develops novel oncology and hematology therapeutics. There, I managed corporate data rooms, maintained global insurance coverage, planned and executed annual shareholder meetings, and assisted with due diligence and preparation of documents for a $74.5M acquisition and a $100M sale.
