Tammy is a fundraising strategist, AFP Master Trainer, and an inspiring international speaker. In the past 20 years she has coached, trained and led nonprofit teams to raise more than a half-billion dollars including a single gift of $27.1M.

She moved to Detroit in 2008 specifically to fundraise in the most challenging economy in the U.S. and has turned those experiences into strategies and training tools for creating transformational fundraising results in any economy.

She served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at The Children's Center in Detroit for nine years, where she led the team effort to triple fundraising results in the first three years, and double again by the time she left to focus full-time on her consulting and training firm.

Tammy currently serves as Associate Dean at the Institute for Charitable Giving founded by legendary fundraisers Jerold Panas & Bill Sturtevant. She joins other esteemed faculty to lead ICG's "Seize the Opportunity" 3-day major gifts seminars across the U.S. each year.

Tammy also serves as an Advisor with the Capital Campaign Toolkit, founded by Andrea Kihlstedt and Amy Eisenstein. Providing

When she's not speaking at conferences or fundraising, she's training and coaching her online membership community of Fundraising Transformers or leading e-courses, private workshops, and retreats through her firm, Fundraising Transformed.

In addition to being an AFP Master Trainer, Tammy is certified in Philanthropic Psychology through the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy, and in Fundraising Management through the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. She serves on the NonProfit PRO magazine Advisory Board, and has previously served as Adjunct Faculty at Indiana University, Technical Editor for Wiley Publishing's “Fundraising for Dummies" third edition, and served on Nonprofit Quarterly's Editorial Advisory Board. She's been named among the "Top 20 Fundraising Experts in the U.S." by Philanthropy Radio.
