I believe you should create the world you want to live in. My version of Peter Drucker's "If you want to predict the future, create it" :-)
I have always been intrigued by the positive role technology can play in people's lives. Most of my career was spent working in Silicon Valley start-up companies developing brand and marketing strategies for nascent technologies, and bridging the gap between the technical teams who build the products and the broader group of people who can benefit from them. I like to make technology approachable, meaningful and am passionate about how it can empower businesses and individuals.
I joined Oracle Cloud ERP for the opportunity to scale innovation and tell great stories. We work with companies worldwide, from start-ups to Fortune 100s, in every industry. Our customers are finance and operations leaders who can see a better future for their companies, employees, society, and customers and are willing to take on the vast and difficult responsibility of driving change within their organizations. These leaders are an inspiration, and we get the chance to share their stories, advice, and vision they see for a better world.
I was also an entertainment producer for an award-winning independent television pilot, a research consultant in a non-profit for education, and a grant writer in previous lives. I'm a big fan of data, but I also understand the importance of context and nuance.
I often speak at technology and marketing thought leadership events and have been interviewed by several top international media outlets, including the CNN Wolf Blitzer show, Wired Magazine, The Economist, Washington Post, and MIT Tech Review. I worked with my team to win a technology Guinness World record and two TIME Magazine Best New Innovation awards for my companies.
I graduated with an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business (where I was also an instructor and am still closely engaged with the school) and was honored to be awarded the Question the Status Quo and Confidence without Attitude leadership awards from my classmates. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a BA in Branding and Social Marketing. As a big tech nerd, I was also the Marketing Chair of the MIT/Stanford Venture Lab.
Interests: sustainability, DEI, IoT, social psychology, leveraging data for positive change, game theory, adventure travel, Simon Sinek (and other non-zero sum leadership philosophies), Kara Swisher's attitude and insights.
