Innovative Solutions Consulting leader, focused on the betterment of my people, the value I can deliver to my customers and to creating the most compelling selling strategies in the industry.
My career has been defined by a handful of guiding principles and I believe they hold as true today as they ever have:
Investment in people is the surest path to winning at anything you try to do. People expect competent management at work, but what they crave is advocates and partners. As a leader, it is 100% on you to give your investment into the establishment of trust with each person under your care and commit to helping them to flourish. You are not the story. They are.
Listen. Listen to data to find facts. Listen to people to learn truths. Those who succeed do this better than most and I have built my career on listening, the curiosity to interpret what I hear and then to find creative was to apply what I hear.
Determine what is valuable, and double down on it. If you can get to the heart of where value lives and throw all other distractions aside, you will most likely succeed. This is true in your own career development, in selling and in leading. The discipline of learning where value shifts and adjusting your approach to attaining it is where careers are made.
