I have assisted Fortune 500 companies create the terminology function to improve the comprehensibility and translatability of their content. And I implemented innovative processes and tools for faster delivery of high-quality translation output on the translation provider side.
I also spent five years teaching full time on the post-graduate level, building the world's first web-based teaching environment for translation technology while serving as program chair.
Finally, I have led the revision of a major translation quality standard as committee chair in an international standardization organization.
