My passion is creating a sustainable portfolio of software products with self-perpetuating growth engines that are essential to my customers’ business. My playbook is to forge together a compelling product vision, brought to life by agile design-led development, and introduced to the world with captivating product storylines. Throughout my career, I have delivered products at Salesforce and in nearly all software divisions as well as five acquired businesses at IBM. I constantly hone my sense of what customers need, which innovations will succeed in the marketplace, and prioritizing investments to ensure a sustainable competitive advantage.

A compelling vision needs great engineering and go-to-market execution to become reality. I have a keen sense of how to develop, deliver, and position products with the right balance of time, energy, and resources—all while building leadership talent along the way. Seeing my team’s efforts yielding multiplicative results while turning vision into reality, and producing meaningful, industry-changing work is my greatest reward—second only to seeing our products improving people’s daily lives and transforming our customers’ businesses.

As a leader, I know that the best idea wins. I actively seek out new approaches and fresh perspectives because curiosity, passion, and learning are essential to our success. I am grateful to have had the incredible opportunity to learn the art of product from some of the best in the business. I strive to become a better leader every day, not just for my team but also for a troop of Boy Scouts and for the competitive robotics teams that I coach. I seek to bring to each team what it needs most, whether it’s direction, clarity, expertise or just the entrepreneurship and grit to get it done.
