Vikram is a seasoned Analytics and Software Product leader with 14 years’ work experience in enabling organizations' transformation leveraging Analytics and Technology solutions. His experience is augmented by an MBA in Systems and Marketing from IIM Trichy coupled with Bachelors in Technology in Computer Science from VIT Vellore. Vikram enjoys the roles that are at the confluence of Business and Technology.
As a Principal Solutions Consultant (Presales) at Synamedia, he acquired deep understanding of the products in video technology domain to support sales in qualifying prospects and successfully closing deals for these products. He managed the responses to RFIs and RFPs by understanding the needs of the customer and creating winning proposals that cater to unique customer requirements. He leveraged internal platforms to share strategic customer and market insights that shaped the product roadmap to drive continued growth within the business.
Prior, as a Product Manager, he owned the roadmap for the Workforce Manager product at Accenture that enabled 2-5% cost savings on a multi-million-dollar base. He spearheaded in creation of an MVP version of the Workforce Manager that resulted in creating a healthy pipeline of customers. Before this, he worked as a Solutions Architect (Presales) to differentiate Accenture offerings with Analytics and AI interventions in Finance domain.
At GSK, he joined as a Business Analyst, supporting the BU with Sales and Marketing Analytics, that enabled in double digit growth for the vertical. Later, as the Product Manager of Sales force automation product, Veeva, he rolled out numerous features by ruthlessly prioritizing the requirements from Leadership, field Sales and Marketing teams. He also worked on various Analytics projects such as devising profitable growth strategy for the BU, leveraging machine learning to formulate the incentive parameters of Sales team.
At KPMG, Vikram worked on deployment of Business Intelligence platform, Qlikview, for a large customer in manufacturing. He developed numerous PoCs for e-commerce and FMCG customers.
Prior to his MBA, at Infosys, he started off as a software engineer and developed Query Builder feature for Virtualization product Gradient. He built connecters for Sybase and Progress DB for Infosys Data Masking Product. Due to his curiosity to learn the business aspect of things he moved on in a Presales role where he pitched Infosys products to numerous Clients. He also played a crucial role in closing multi-million-dollar deal for a large European Bank.
