Based in Amsterdam & regularly working in Paris. I am a documentary photographer working primarily in portraiture and reportage to share people’s stories.
I like to use portraits to start a conversation with changemakers and those impacted by those changes. I like to use reportage to capture people’s place in their environment.
When not making my own pictures, I handle projects and communications for Witness Change, an NGO using visual storytelling to support marginalized groups to share their stories. I work with stakeholders at all levels.
In Amsterdam, I am actively developing projects focused on the changing demographics of Amsterdam. With my storytelling partner, Fouad Lakbir, we release bespoke publications focused on neighborhoods in transition.
In addition to documentary and commercial work, I am a founding member of the photography tourism company Aperture Tours which has quickly expanded from Paris to a greater international reach.
When I’m not working…I’m still thinking about making pictures, but usually on a long run or somewhere in the mountains.
