Zane Landin

Since I was young, stories have inspired me the most. Storytelling is an exploratory experience. I believe in the power of sharing your story because sharing your story holds power and influence. I am a person who belongs to many underrepresented communities. I always share the intersectionality of my lived experiences to embrace transformational change.

I am a recent graduate from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations. I was honored with the Summa Cum Laude distinction and graduated from the Kellogg Honors College. I am a passionate entrepreneur and advocate for social justice. I have worked with brands and organizations like General Motors, SAGE Publishing, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. These experiences have prepared me to be a culturally competent communicator.

Key Career Achievements:

I landed my first job as an Internal Communications Specialist at National Geographic.

MTV hosted the event at the White House, where I met Selena Gomez, Dr. Biden, Dr. Murthy, and President Biden. I represented the event as one of 30 chosen mental health advocates at the Mental Health Youth Action Forum, where I spoke on the youth perspective of mental health. With a group of other mental health advocates, I am working on a mental health podcast in partnership with Spotify.

I am the founder and CEO of PositiveVibes Magazine, a digital magazine dedicated to positive storytelling about mental health and disability. We have featured inspirational leaders like Laganja Estranja, Kimberly Syder, Bradley King, Ayden Mekus, and Kelsi Davies. Also I am the President of Landing Dreams PR, my own PR agency. Through it, I have landed my clients on several podcasts and platforms like Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation and WebMD.

I am a speaker and thought leader. I write for Entrepreneur, Power of Positivity, and Lady Gaga's Channel Kindness on DEIA, wellness, workplace culture, and empowering organizations. I have spoken about mental health and disability inclusion, grief, and other topics on 100+ platforms like Forbes, Buzzfeed, Authority Magazine, CanvasRebel Magazine, Shoutout LA, Exeleon Magazine, Seek the Joy Podcast, Coming from the Heart Podcast, Go Solo, and Yahoo! Life.
