Data-driven Content Marketer | Social Media Expert | Audience Advocate
I'm a PR-minded marketing professional that loves bringing a brand to life.
I excel in digital marketing with a focus on content and social media. I understand how these elements are just one integral part in marketing and communications.
Working closely to a companies audience allows me to understand their wants and needs to ensure the appropriate content is being curated.
I host the podcast Unthinkable, write the weekly newsletter Playing Favorites, and develop podcasts and docuseries for mission-driven brands, authors, and entrepreneurs. I'm also a frequent keynote speaker, and the author of the book Break the Wheel.
It is my personal, professional mission to help others make work that matters -- to their careers, their companies, and their communities.
I see creativity as a form of problem solving and leadership. It's a means of raising your hand to lead and investigate and improve things, and I want to help others frame their work as such. That can help us see the work and the world better and differently.
Before becoming a content entrepreneur, I held marketing and media roles at Google, HubSpot, and the VC firm NextView.
My biggest ambition and maybe grandest delusion is to be the Anthony Bourdain of business storytelling :)

With over 20 years in the website development, design, and optimization industry, I have worked in every discipline required for building websites. Design, front-end development, backend programming, Search Engine Optimization, project management, content strategy, web server administration, and analytics analysis are several of the disciplines that I have experienced through the years.
Focusing now on the strategy portion of the effort, I have found a true passion in the experience marketing discipline. Utilizing tools such as Sitecore Experience Platform (xP, xDB, EXM), Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud (DEC), Kentico, and more, there are incredible ways that we can market and tell a story to individual customers on websites visited by thousands, hundred of thousands and millions of people.

In addition to project skills, I am also a creative contributor to clients with experience in design, programming, and web marketing. I've created an entire career out of connecting systems and platforms in a way that solves real business problems for regular people. Since 2005, I've worked in integration, analytics, data science, GIS, and financial reporting. I've worked as a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and most recently as a Director of Product.
In April 2020, I moved to Sydney Australia, where I currently reside. Since then I've been doing some consulting for various customers, and have been maintaining a full time job at a US headquartered SaaS company. I'm now looking to make a change, finding a role which will have me working with people in the same timezone as myself.
I'm an experienced, Scrum Certified product manager with strong skills in SQL (various platforms), Jira,
Confluence, REST APIs, Sockets, infrastructure (AWS and GCP), and much more.
Over the past few years, I've also been building my passion project, DataFetch.io. DataFetch is an In-Chat
Data Retrieval platform, available for Slack and MS Teams. I've become quite deeply familiar with both of those platforms, as well as how to architect secure, scalable, and efficient systems with minimal resources.
Most importantly, I am a devoted partner, a girl dad, a pet lover (ask me about Remy).
If you want to get me to go off on an tangent, mention Marvel movies, video games, cocktails, cooking.
