I'm the founding marketer and Head of Brand at Island.
I built, launched, and continue to grow the Island brand. Leaders of the Enterprise Browser category. A company fundamentally reshaping the world of enterprise work. Now valuated at ~$5B.
I crafted Island's strategic narrative, designed and executed its launch strategy, drafted our end-to-end messaging, establish Island's social media strategy and tactics, developed and executed Island's brand experience, and built Island's creative identity -- all from scratch.
Oh. And I named the company.
But I don't do it alone. I work closely with Island's co-founders and executive leadership, R&D experts, sales leaders, and customer success team to make sure the Island identity is seen, felt, and communicated consistently, everywhere.
I work closely with in-house designers, manage external vendors, and (very) often sit and do the work myself to craft distinct, arresting creative that commands our audience's attention.
I obsess over the last 5%. Because that's where the magic lies.
