I'm an educator specializing in women's relational health. This means that I travel the country sharing what the latest research has to say about the unique ways that women cooperate, communicate, and engage in conflict.
As a former high school teacher and academic chair in one of the largest schools in the United States, I'm thrilled to be able to leverage my education background to help women begin to enjoy more satisfying platonic relationships.
As a national speaker, spokesperson, and PR agency owner, I've been able to accomplish many things over the past few years:
- hired by Bumble to serve as a consultant and spokesperson for over a year
- hired by Etsy, the NBA, the NFL, and TikTok to share research and lead wellness workshops for their teams
- leveraged my research and marketing skills to find and pitch literary agents about a book idea... three years later, it led to a six-figure book deal
- becoming a go-to media expert for the Tamron Hall Show (on-camera), Huffpost, The New York Times, and NBC News (on-camera)
- writing for outlets like Insider and Harvard Business Review
- while travelling and speaking, managing PR clients
- developing and teaching socio-emotional curriculum for leaders and educators
My book, "Fighting for our Friendships: The Science and Art of Conflict and Connection in Women's Relationships", was released in May 2024, and as this new season comes to a close, I'm looking to take on the next chapter in Raleigh, North Carolina.
