My career started in Operations, where I worked with companies including Trulia (acquired by Zillow), Google, and Twitter. From this work, and with a passion for social psychology and linguistics, I discovered my love of Marketing, which ultimately brought me to Unity.

At Unity, my initial responsibility was to design, define, and establish a data driven, volume based subscription business. I built the team that owned the entire digital experience for new and existing users. Through innovative marketing and growth campaigns, we took a new business from $0, to over $38M within 2.5 years. In addition, I managed the team that lead our eCommerce Asset Store. The Asset Store is a marketplace where game developers can create, post, and purchase assets for their projects.

After 3 years at Unity, I was asked to solve one of the company’s biggest challenges, which was the success and growth of our free user base; a critical part of the company’s success. Within a matter of months, we saw our activation success rate increase by over 20%, and we increased day 7 and day 30 retention by over 35%.

After 5.5 years and a successful IPO at Unity, I was introduced to Netlify. I was immediately drawn to the company and how their solution solves problems with monolithic web architectures that I myself struggled with for years. Netlify is the pioneer in defining the future of web development and composable web architecture. I am honored and beyond excited to represent the company as their Chief Marketing Officer.

When I reflect on where I've been, I believe my career is a reminder that you should never assume that what you do today has to dictate what you do in the future. Find your passion. Be curious. Create the path you want, and be kind to people along the way. You never know what the future holds.
