Hi/Hola/Olá! My name is Isamar, and my North Star is a belief that everyone should have the resources to thrive in pursuit of a life well-lived.
Throughout my 8 years in international higher education organizations, global ed & work tech startups, I observed that the systems for learning, skill development, and earning a thriving wage are broken. A system redesign is imperative, and I want a role in the rebuild.
My theory is that tech can support this redesign, particularly companies that are reimagining the future of learning, earning, skilling, and work.
If people learn well, they can earn well, and live well.
I am an operations-minded product marketer that ensures people are finding and using the best products to self-actualize.
My experience as a marketer, product service developer, project manager, and recruiter includes:
..applying insights from customers to improve products & services to better meet their needs
..working cross-functionally on global teams to launch projects and deliver results
..researching and understanding markets & competitors
..aligning messaging to target audiences.
Everywhere I go, I bring my toolbox of knowledge and skills gained from:
- an Oxford MBA
- a Harvard EdM in international education policy
- a Harvard BA in psychology
- a certification from the Product Marketing Alliance
- a fellowship in global social enterprise from MovingWorlds
- a few certifications in human-centered design
