Before print died, I honed my skills as an op-ed writer for The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Financial Review. I've since racked up over 15 years' experience as a communications manager, coach, consultant and SEO copywriter.

I currently split my time between an executive communications adviser role in the health sector and running my consultancy, Blue Budgie Communications. I'm also a feature writer for Mamamia and Pinstripe Media where I produce campaign content for high profile clients including Coles, Woolworths, Foxtel, Myer, Telstra, Disney, Stripe and Westfield.

If there was ever evidence of my ability to multitask, it would be completing a Master of Communication with High Distinction while working and raising two kids under two (I do not recommend). I also hold a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing and an Associate Degree in Musical Theatre which means I can tap dance while typing.
