I’m a born and raised Brazilian who made her way into the U.S. to learn and lead out-of-the-box public relations and content campaigns.
Until 7 years ago, I didn’t speak a lick of English. Listening to Black Eyed Peas songs and watching captioned Smallville episodes was as far I could go.
Since then, I’ve…
1) Got a full ride to GMU, where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Journalism while playing NCAA D1 volleyball.
2) Worked in-house and agency, developing media relations campaigns for tech startups that resulted in features with TechCrunch, Business Insider, Bloomberg, and more.
3) Got laid off for the first time in this new tech ecosystem. Then started a freelancing business, where I offer public relations and content writing services (DM if you want to learn more).
4) Starting a full-time dream job in March (stay tuned!)
5) Oh and somewhere in there, I met a great guy, got married, ate a bunch of sushi, bought way too many plants, and moved to NC.
