I led Salesforce's move to Hyperforce, our next-gen infrastructure. This re-architected cloud platform has improved security, scalability, and availability. We are now optimizing our operating zones by geography. We are also enhancing data privacy and sovereignty. This will support customers with high data sensitivity.
I formed and ran a top-tier executive SteerCo. It spanned engineering, legal, and customer support. It drove the technical design and deployment of Hyperforce [300+ Scrum Teams, 1000+ Engineers]. This was across 50+ independent and related service teams. The teams spanned Sales and Service Cloud, Security, Networking, DevOps, and Operations. Deployed and scaled our infrastructure from 5 countries and 11 data centers to 15 countries and 45 availability zones in just 2 years. We did this to meet our customer's data residency needs.
Catalyzed the launch of a new EU Operating Zone, expanding Salesforce’s data privacy obligations and limiting customer data transfer outside the region. Rallied large, distributed product teams to bring the EU Zone from concept to reality, cementing Salesforce as an EMEA leader.
