As a someone with a background in journalism/linguistics as well as science, I aim to perform as a liaison between STEM and the humanities.
Currently, I am working as an editorial intern at Simpler Media Group's branch, CMSWire. I am in charge of the press release section of the website and the weekly wrap-up. I also publish my own feature articles and article series, doing the research, interviewing, and writing for these myself. Much of my work revolves around AI, machine learning, and popular chatbots such as ChatGPT, Bard, and Bing.
My higher education began as a more linguistic-focused experience and also included a deep dive into the STEM realm. My passion for language and culture has led me to study abroad twice, in both England and in France; I have also applied to a variety of internationally-geared internships/study opportunities including the Fulbright, ThinkSwiss, and the Bunac.
Having backgrounds in both language and STEM encourages me to value accuracy and precision in writing lexicon as well, not just in scientific studies. By implementing my skills in languages and linguistics, I hope to work towards creating a better, more knowledgeable world.
