Uttam is a seasoned leader working on Developer Products and Developer Relations for more than a decade. He currently works as Vice President, Developer Relations @ Qualcomm.
In his earlier role Uttam led Global Programs for Developer Community Ecosystem at Google. Developer Relations Programs which Uttam & his team worked on scaled to over 130 countries worldwide, reaching over 10Mn+ devs in-person every year. Uttam also led the team working on Google for Startup Accelerators across Americas at Google focusing on AI, ML and other Google Developer products. As part of that role Uttam built and grew the Global Programs organization driving Awareness, Education/training, Adoption and Feedback for Google’s developer products among Developers worldwide while keeping needs of the Developers first.
In his other roles at Google Uttam led Launchpad (Startup Accelerator) and was Country Head, Developer Relations for India & South East Asia.
Uttam has also worked as a Management Consultant at Booz & Co. and Software Developer Engineer at Amazon India. Uttam holds a B.Tech+M.Tech. degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
