I've spent my career assisting legal professionals with the use and development of technology to support the practice of law and enable the business of legal services delivery.
Experience includes law department transformations, complex enterprise and legal software implementation (including matter management/e-billing, document management, contract management, etc), trial technology consulting, and experience as a licensed attorney. I have worked on some of the nation’s largest mass tort litigation trials, was involved in the founding of several successful startup companies and was part of the team that introduced the first mobile app for Texas lawyers (for which I was awarded the State Bar of Texas Award of Merit).
Now I spend most of my time working closely with corporate legal departments on digital transformation. I provide hands-on guidance to building best practices in legal operations, especially around contract lifecycle management and analytics. I help corporate legal departments operate more like the businesses they serve and provide them support for legacy contract migrations, template rationalization, process and workflow re-engineering and technology enablement. Having led and been involved in more than 100 #CLM implementation projects, I not only understand how to make them succeed, but can help navigate around the areas that typically make such initiatives fail. I'm certified and have implemented a wide variety of CLM solutions in the market (and some no longer in the market).
With my background in ELM and e-Discovery, I also help organizations develop a holistic revenue operations process that includes Sales, Finance and other departments outside of Legal. I facilitate the cross-functional conversations that need to be undertaken to truly transform the entire lifecycle for the business. I also stay on top of emerging trends to help my clients innovate in a safe and effective manner and help them wade through the noise in the market.
Frequent presenter at CLE and Legal Technology conferences around the world on topics such as Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Contract Management, Matter Management, Document Management, e-Billing, Emerging Legaltech Trends, Social Networking, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity and Encryption.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and before the United States Supreme Court.
Building a Second Brain to empower technical SMB owners in building relationships and sales pipeline
As an introvert and engineer at heart, it took me years to learn social cues and build relationships with people. With 15 years of assisting enterprises in embedding data, analytics and AI, my team and I are building technology that fast-track people's lives.
▶︎ Current Innovation
Engage AI is the personal AI to technical SME owners in the B2B industry, like Anne Hathaway is to Meryl Streep in the iconic Devil Wears Prada movie.
With its impeccable long-term memory and timely information, it acts like an ever-reliable PA. With Engage AI's aid in saying the right things, at the right place, to the right people, technical SME owners can confidently build relationships and sales pipelines.
Our entry point to the market is AI commenting technology for LinkedIn users, as comments are the precursor to a conversation. It's free, and you can experience it here: https://bit.ly/EngageAIExt

To successfully lead a communications business to become the best in its field by being bold, thinking creatively and always having finesse.
Creativity, leadership and coaching are three things which I am passionate about. Developing new ideas and integrating these solutions within teams of people is what motivates me to get the best from myself, the business I work for and the people around me.
I believe at Paperless Parts we can give small and mid-sized manufacturers the same tools that big companies spend millions to build, help them realize the same value, and put them on the same playing field for a fraction of the cost.
A lot of people are working to commoditize precision manufacturing. We choose to support the entrepreneurs that are driving this industry forward.
