Operations Leader. Talent Specialist. Company Builder.
Jon joined Daversa Partners in 2013 and cut his teeth in executive search. Having the opportunity to learn from world class entrepreneurs and sr. executives was inspiration for Jon to apply those principles in his day-to-day. Thus, Jon has provided hands-on and results oriented operational leadership to Daversa, helping drive the firm’s growth from 40 to 200+ people.
Jon has been tapped by Daversa's CEO to lead operational activities for the business including systems & operations, training & development, talent acquisition, sourcing & contract negotiation, and vendor management. Jon is a proponent of leveraging technology and automation to increase operational efficiency. He has led the implementation and successful adoption of many platforms such as Rippling, SalesLoft, Slack, and RocketReach.
No stranger to wearing multiple hats, Jon is also recognized as a skilled recruiter and developer of talent. He is called on to help lead some of the firm’s most critical executive search projects across every function in the C-suite. Jon’s work spans emerging technologies in manufacturing, robotics, health tech, defense tech and space. He is responsible for building the executive leadership teams at companies like Epirus, Pillpack (sold to Amazon), Even (sold to ONE) and OPT Industries. Jon has also been a part of strategic talent projects with top venture capital firms Greylock and Venrock.
When he's not helping build companies, you’ll likely find Jon on a pickleball court, watching the Purdue Boilermakers, or trying his hand at fly fishing and backyard maple sugaring. Jon is from a small town in the Midwest built on work ethic, agriculture, and manufacturing. It's in his DNA to roll up his sleeves, problem solve, and find innovative solutions. He holds a B.S. degree from Purdue University's College of Technology, with a major in organizational leadership.
