The things I’ll do for a job I love… ;-) I'm Kyle Legg, an award-winning content marketing leader. With my feet firmly planted in data-driven strategies and my head always in the clouds of creative possibilities, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking and imaginative problem-solving to every project. This balance of practicality and creativity allows me to create content that resonates with audiences and drives results. I currently lead global brand social media editorial and creative for @Salesforce and @Trailhead. But my journey into social media began long before it was a career path… My passion for writing and creating started young, obsessively crafting illustrated books and intricate building LEGO structures. Growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s, I was introduced to proto-social platforms like AOL Instant Messenger and message boards, followed by MySpace, where I taught myself HTML/CSS and, unwittingly, social media strategy. These early experiences laid the foundation for my career. Throughout school, I honed my skills in journalism, layout design, and photography. Moving to San Francisco for university, I further developed my web and design skills. This led to creating 49Miles.com, my first professional venture into social media and content marketing, where I documented explorations with hyperlocal guides. In 2019, I joined Salesforce to support social media for Dreamforce, the world’s largest tech conference. Today, I bring a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience to Salesforce’s social media strategy, spanning 140+ global handles in 22 regions. Born in Northern Virginia but raised at skate parks, motocross tracks, and mountain slopes, I’ve had adrenaline pumping through my veins since the first time I pushed on a skateboard (which was age 4). I found community in my fellow action sports junkies by creating social media videos which showcased the intensity, grit, and beauty of their respective sport. Eight years later my portfolio of work has expanded to include commercial, travel, adventure, and lifestyle. Now a creative media specialist with a knack for visual storytelling to authentically humanize brands. At the heart of my talent is deep technical knowledge and clear communication, which makes for a very structured (yet fun) set environment.
