Wall Street Journal bestseller: Human-Centered Communication šŸ“– Learn to break through ever-increasing digital noise and pollution, build trust and engagement, and grow reputation and revenue.
Goals: šŸ‘‹šŸ¾ To help you communicate, connect, and convert in a more personal and human way ā˜€ļø To wake up every day excited to make things and to make things more effective šŸ‘Ŗ To invest in my family šŸŒ³ To be outside šŸ’° To require less, spend less, and give more šŸŒŽ To leave things better than I found them Specialty Short List: šŸŽ§ Podcast host - The Customer Experience Podcast. šŸŽ“ Educator - content writer, producer, and editor; speaker and presenter. šŸ“™ Author - Rehumanize Your Business (Wiley, 2019). šŸ“’ Author - Human-Centered Communication (Fast Company Press, 2021). šŸ”¬ Marketing strategist. Messaging specialist. Branding enthusiast. šŸŽÆ Multi-channel and multi-media campaign builder. Specialty Longer List: Content creation | Collaborative participation | Teaching & training | Listening | Connecting goals to strategies to tactics | Short form promotional messaging | Speaking - particularly when well-versed and personally passionate about the topic | Writing - particularly with brevity and clarity | Quipping | Collecting, arranging, processing and editing words and images | Adobe Creative Cloud - Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop | Also, I've run TONS of email marketing to engage, educate, and nurture. Brief History: After a year of driving a full-sized school bus to two dozen cities (story in the Experience section of my profile), I spent a dozen years leading marketing teams inside local television stations in Grand Rapids (MI), Chicago, and Colorado Springs. As boredom with the work crept in, I earned an MBA and did project work for a variety of companies to explore interests and identify transferrable skills. In that process, I connected deeply with the team and mission of a bootstrapped software startup, BombBomb. When I joined BombBomb, we had fewer than 10 employees. Since then, we've enjoyed +2,000% growth in team size, +32,000% growth in customer size, and +52,000% growth in revenue. We're a team of 125 people (based in downtown Colorado Springs but also distributed) who are on a mission to rehumanize people who've been dehumanized by system or circumstance; we're funding the effort by helping people rehumanize their business communication with video email and video messages. I've now spent a decade helping people enjoy clearer communication, human connection, and higher conversion by replacing some of their faceless, digital communication with simple, personal video messages in emails, text messages, LinkedIn messages, Slack messages, and similar. I've sent more than 14,000 videos myself and co-authored two (and a half) books on the what, why, who, when, and how of this "relationships through video" movement. #CustomerExperience #HumanConnection #HumanCentered #SalesProcess #VideoTraining #VideoTips
Grady Kerr Claimed
Training Specialist that excels in breaking down complex concepts in a way that is engaging and entertaining.
I feel at my most comfortable in front of a crowd. In my experiences, I have done live training for groups of over 100 attendees and down to small group sessions of a few learners. My current day to day is with online training with similarly sized groups. Training participants seek out education with a pain point in mind. I design actionable training that drills in on that pain and provides real-life solutions that they can enact right away. I am a servant leader at heart and I am often the person my teammates come to when they are looking for advice. I am approachable and have always been the ā€œgo-toā€ guy to assist other departments when they are in need. I love to help others and I have found that training the best way I have found to be a resource to as many people as possible.

Demand Generation Campaign Manager @ Alation
Identifying myself as a first generation immigrant in the US has molded my unique aspirations and perspectives. I understand how it feels to be financially insecure or without opportunity, therefore I strive to go above and beyond when an opportunity arises. I come from a nursing background pivoting swiftly into the tech šŸ¦„ space, starting off in Sales and now in Marketing for 5+ years. As a Demand Generation Campaign Manager at Alation, I leverage my skills in campaign management, content strategy, and Asana to create and execute effective marketing campaigns that generate leads, nurture prospects, and drive revenue. One thing that remains constant for me in work and life is how process-oriented and data-driven I am. In any circumstances, you can count on me to define and optimize processes and seek the data to improve for the future! Motto: The world is full of kind people... If you can't find one, be one.

For as long as I can remember, Iā€™ve loved interacting and engaging with other people. Though youā€™ll quickly discover Iā€™m a strong ā€œfact finderā€ on the Kolbe scale, and I love to dig deep and research every aspect of a challenge or project (see my work in autonomous vehicle regulation), my natural inclination is to work with people. Iā€™m great at making connections, nurturing relationships, communicating with individuals or groups, and resolving conflicts in a way that makes everyone happy. This is what originally drove me to study law and do my internship in international commercial litigation. I quickly realized, however, that litigation is not about creating win-wins; itā€™s about ensuring that one side wins (and the other, therefore, must lose). Plus, thereā€™s more paperwork than people work. No thanks! After earning my credentials in the Israeli Bar Association, I made the difficult decision to venture out and bring my skills to KPMGā€™s Internal Audit and Risk Compliance Services, where I help major multinational corporations ensure that theyā€™re in compliance with important regulatory frameworks. At KPMG, Iā€™ve found much more opportunity to work with people in solving problems that matter, and Iā€™ve greatly enjoyed managing projects and interacting with highly skilled professionals from many different industries. In fact, Iā€™ve enjoyed the ā€œpeopleā€ aspect of this role so much, that I even took it on myself both to expand KPMGā€™s involvement in the Womenā€™s Corporate Directors organization and to bring together KPMG Israelā€™s own Board of Directors for various social and professional events. For my next role, Iā€™m looking to double down on my passion for working with people. During COVID, Iā€™ve been exposed to the worlds of affiliate marketing and partnerships, and Iā€™m energized and enthusiastic about roles that demand this type of work. Iā€™ve always wanted to be involved in technology, and I believe that helping companies find valuable strategic partnerships is a great way I can do so with my skill set. Due to the realities of our world today, Iā€™m primarily interested in remote or remote-friendly work, with a company that is taking on an important problem, such as climate change, human rights, health, etc.
