I host the podcast Unthinkable, write the weekly newsletter Playing Favorites, and develop podcasts and docuseries for mission-driven brands, authors, and entrepreneurs. I'm also a frequent keynote speaker, and the author of the book Break the Wheel.
It is my personal, professional mission to help others make work that matters -- to their careers, their companies, and their communities.
I see creativity as a form of problem solving and leadership. It's a means of raising your hand to lead and investigate and improve things, and I want to help others frame their work as such. That can help us see the work and the world better and differently.
Before becoming a content entrepreneur, I held marketing and media roles at Google, HubSpot, and the VC firm NextView.
My biggest ambition and maybe grandest delusion is to be the Anthony Bourdain of business storytelling :)
Versatile and accomplished People/Human Resources leader with a strong track record of creating value through development of strategic initiatives and and implementation through tactical efforts.
Industry experience includes professional services, technology, software, SaaS, and consulting. Companies range in size from 10-100K+ employees, have national and global presence. Organizations range from high growth to start-up to in transition to established.
Design and deliver best practices in multiple facets of HR including talent acquisition and management, employee experience, leadership and individual coaching, compliance and risk mitigation, benefit plan design, and compensation and equity planning.
I have always had a thirst for knowledge, fueled by my diverse set of passions. This quality manifests itself in both my personal and professional lives.
I made it a priority during my time at University to develop a diverse skill set that would allow me to develop my professional interests. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as certificates in both Computer Science and Business. Personally, I value new, unique experiences and maintaining a well-rounded lifestyle. Subsequently, I am able to relate to and empathize with many different types of people.
As the world’s technology is now more volatile than ever, my constant curiosity will ensure that I am always ready to adapt, learn, and innovate in response.
As I begin my career at Oracle as a Cloud Solutions Engineer, I will act as a liaison between the sales force and the software products. My technical and leadership experiences, my creativity, my drive, and my relatability will help me to not only think innovatively regarding our company’s software solutions, but also communicate with clients how they personally can best utilize Oracle solutions.
Collaborative, adaptable, and data-driven B2B marketing leader. Since transitioning from social work to tech, I've held as many marketing and growth roles as you can imagine, from market launch and expansion to demand gen.
Currently, I do product marketing at Mode, where I am responsible for messaging, positioning, go-to-market strategy, offering development and launch, market research, and sales enablement.
