I host the podcast Unthinkable, write the weekly newsletter Playing Favorites, and develop podcasts and docuseries for mission-driven brands, authors, and entrepreneurs. I'm also a frequent keynote speaker, and the author of the book Break the Wheel.
It is my personal, professional mission to help others make work that matters -- to their careers, their companies, and their communities.
I see creativity as a form of problem solving and leadership. It's a means of raising your hand to lead and investigate and improve things, and I want to help others frame their work as such. That can help us see the work and the world better and differently.
Before becoming a content entrepreneur, I held marketing and media roles at Google, HubSpot, and the VC firm NextView.
My biggest ambition and maybe grandest delusion is to be the Anthony Bourdain of business storytelling :)
Storytelling can change the world because it's the only thing that ever has.
David J Ebner is an Author and the President of Content Workshop. In 2013, he assembled a co-op of storytellers whose sole purpose was to use their storytelling skills to help brands. David spends most of his time running Content Workshop and assisting brands in standing out using their unique story.
I help professionals (like you! 💪 ) level up their careers using negotiation strategies.
Susie is an entrepreneur, author, and executive coach helping her clients unleash their inner negotiators.
Before discovering her passion for executive coaching, Susie held a range of senior positions in the Telecommunications industry in a career that spanned over 20 years.
While working at Comcast, Susie honed her negotiation skills by overseeing an annual client portfolio valued at over $80M.
Susie worked with and closed deals for some of the biggest names in corporate America, including ESPN/Disney, Boeing, Gallup, Discovery, Viacom, NBC, and A&E.
Susie's talent for coaching and passing on her skills became apparent after she realized her three daughters were using her own negotiation tactics against her to get what they wanted. She'd clearly taught them too well. This was the sign she needed to leave her corporate life and embark on a new career as a consultant and executive coach.
Susie now works with startups, large organizations, and individuals, helping her clients discover their negotiation superpowers, advocate for themselves, and stop being the path of least resistance.
She even found time to write her first book, The Art of Everyday Negotiation without Manipulation, and now enjoys watching her (now grown) daughters blaze their own trail.
Susie is a proud graduate of the Betsy Magness Institute, the leading female leadership development program in the Telecommunications industry, a certified CliftonStrengths coach, and a graduate of the International Coaching Academy.
