Working in the Apartment Industry since 2002, Travis has grown by managing all types of properties from Government-Subsidized to Class-A Lease-Ups. His ability to build and lead high-performing teams has allowed him to grow on-the-job and through formal educational settings.
Being in the tech industry was not something I planned for when graduating college from IUPUI. After graduating with a Finance degree and joining a bank, I quickly realized that working in the financial industry was not for me. I was lucky that Genesys took a shot on someone with my background to join in a technical role as a Solutions Consultant. 3 years later, I've amazed myself at how far my technical knowledge has come. After two years, I received a promotion to Senior Solutions Consultant and have been tasked with training a lot of our new hires on the team. When I say certain technical statements on calls, I often just take a moment to realize that at some point in the past, I thought I would never know what I know now. My expertise is not only in Contact Center software. I also hold certification with AWS so I'm familiar with infrastructure and networking. Conversational AI and Process Automation are also of great interest to me. In a short amount of time, I've managed to dive deep into the technology industry and I'm hoping to dive deeper as my career moves along.
In terms of professional side interests, I am also interested in Real Estate investing and Value based Stock investing (so that Finance degree isn't completely pointless). Feel free to strike up a conversation with me about technology, real estate, equities, or a different topic that you find interesting. I love to dive into new topics. :)
