Founder of Style Nine to Five (job board) + Resume/Cover Letter Expert
I've spent the majority of my career (20+ years in fashion + HR) reviewing resumes and recruiting for top companies and am now putting this expertise to use! I love helping job seekers land their dream jobs through an awesome selection of career services and my amazing job board, Style Nine to Five.
Being in the fashion industry over 20 years, as a Store Manager, Buyer, Fashion Writer, Recruiter for one of Canada’s top retailers, and ‘Style Expert’ for TV, I discovered a need for a career website for this industry. During my role as a Recruiter, I would spend hours going through 100’s of resumes on a typical job site before I found one or two qualified applicants. This is why I created Style Nine to Five. I love my work, the people I’ve met and the industry I’m in.
Fashion has always been a love of mine and I figured it out at a young age. At 6 years old, I changed outfits at my babysitter's house before school. The 80s blue eyeshadow and fruit basket earrings got me into a lot of trouble.
Over the years, I've discovered helping, motivating and inspiring others has taken over so I found a way to marry the two. I created the first fashion job website in Canada called Style Nine to Five. If you're looking for a job in fashion or are recruiting for a job in the retail/fashion industry, visit www.styleninetofive.com.
