I am an unconventional person. A data geek that loves to help businesses thrive. A nerdy dad that loves sports and Star Wars.
I really just want the world to be a bit kinder to one another.
Award-winning freelance presenter, journalist & podcaster: finance and sport
After a successful decade in sports broadcasting, I moved across to finance presenting and journalism in 2014, presenting my own daily radio show for three years. I have gone on to work at some of the biggest media organisations in Britain and won a number of awards, most recently Personal Finance Journalist of the Year at the 2023 British Bank Awards and ADVFN's International Personal Finance Broadcast Journalist of the Year.
As a freelancer, I currently work for The Times and Times Radio, BBC, Business Reporter, and talkTV, and travel the world covering major events such as the COP climate conference, Milken and the Cannes Lions Festival with Boston Consulting Group.
An experienced event host and media trainer, I am also a well-known podcaster. I have been writing and hosting the This is Money (finance section of the MailOnline) podcast for the last 9 years, one of the most listened to business podcasts on iTunes. I also host a number of other podcast including BCG's official podcast The So What.
I'm passionate about encouraging more girls into sport and decided to take a Level One FA Coaching badge to accompany my FA referee qualification.

Chief Revenue Officer at Epignosis learning technologies
I help SaaS companies scale their revenue, leading them from a few million USD to tens of million USD in Annual Recurring Revenue by aligning all three revenue-generating teams (demand generation, sales and customer success). At Epignosis, the learning technology company behind TalentLMS, eFront and TalentCards, I am responsible for the international growth of the business, by generating new and retaining existing revenue across multiple channels with a long-term perspective.
Prior to Epignosis, I wore many hats in the tech world, leading teams with ambitious goals to success. For many years I have consulted tech companies on commercial strategy, business development, operations and fundraising.
I am a pragmatic optimist, who takes full ownership of everything in my life. As a professional, I have a seat at the table, preferring these rooms where I am not the smartest person. As a leader, I lead by example. I prefer to manage by context rather than control. The values important to me are trust, communication, flexibility, freedom, initiative and ownership.
An active member of meetups fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, business plan competitions and venture academies. I curated the Open Coffee Thessaloniki meetings and was a founding member of the TEDxThessaloniki team.
