Communication! Prioritisation! Whether at work or in my everyday life, I try to bridge the gaps in understanding through effective communication. At the same time, there are numerous studies which show that prioritisation makes an individual more efficient at daily activities rather than switching gears to bounce back and forth between tasks. These two skills are some of the most crucial aspects of my day to day work, being a Product Manager. As a PM, I enjoy working with extremely talented people to build products which solve people’s problems. I have completed my MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and have received a degree in Computer Engineering from VJTI. My experiences so far have allowed me to develop functional expertise in conducting effective user/client interviews, understanding customer needs and translating them into development tasks, and data modelling and analysis using Python and SQL. At my most recent company, I have led internal teams with 10+ persons to develop and coordinate a successful development, launch, and lifecycle management of product initiatives. I was responsible for launching 10+ product features to Go-Live which led to a 5X growth in the overall transaction volume for our client. We were able to reduce TAT from 1 week to 6 hours for the onboarding of client’s customers by designing an automated process. At my previous organisations, I have experience of building a 0-1 product using first principles thinking. I developed deep empathy with customers and interviewed 30+ professionals across 8 sectors to gather potential customer insights and generate new business which could be rapidly tested.
