I'm a market researcher whose main goal is perpetual learning. I've worked as a data analyst, digital marketer, project coordinator, market researcher and more, but the thing that sets me apart from others is my desire to find and use data and information to fuel my decision making. I am the Senior Program Director for Out in Tech, the world's largest non-profit uniting the LGBTQ+ tech community. In this role, I am responsible for creating opportunities for the organization's 50,000+ members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change.
In 2017, I created the Digital Corps initiative to equip LGBTQ+ activists around the world with websites and technological tools to advocate for policy-change, raise funds, and grow their community. To this day, we've built nearly 250 websites for activists operating in countries where it's illegal to be out. One of our other programs is a youth mentorship program, which has connected nearly 1000 LGBTQ+ young people with tech professionals, and helped launch their career in the industry.
Prior to Out in Tech, I was a United Nations consultant for 5 years providing data management services (software and mobile app development, website and dashboard creation...) to agencies including UNICEF, UNFPA, and UN Women. During that time, I led capacity-building workshops on monitoring & evaluation software in 15 countries.
I obtained my Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs in 2015.
