I am an experienced founder with a passion. After more than a decade in e-commerce it was time to refocus my entrepreneurial energy. Together with my co-founder Anike, I started foom. foom technology converts organic waste into valuable fertiliser - on site and in record time. Currently, the earth’s soil stores more than three times as much CO2 as the earth's atmosphere. The use of chemical fertilisers alone leads to emissions amounting to two gigatons of CO2 equivalents worldwide every year. foom has developed a solution to stop this trend – by replacing chemical fertiliser with organic fertiliser (extracted onsite from organic waste) and by minimising emissions though avoidance of waste transportation.
