Lizzy (she/her) is a marketer, writer, and poet, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Currently, she creates educational resources for user researchers, research ops professionals, and other folks in the UX community on the User Interviews blog.
She became a marketer by accident; after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing from a small college in Vermont, she applied to every job opportunity she could find with the word “writer” in the title. She cut her teeth on marketing as an agency copywriter, where she learned to approach content as an act of hospitality, shaped by a sense of empathy, generosity, and high regard for the audience.
Since then, Lizzy’s written both freelance and in-house content for a wide range of industries, including technology, AI, retail, cosmetics, food and beverage, law, education, and most recently, UX research.
Outside of work, Lizzy likes hiking, people-watching, thrift shopping, learning and sharing ideas. Her happiest memory is sitting on the shore of Lake Champlain in the summer of 2020, eating a clementine.
A little amount myself, I am a landlord turned tech founder who saw a gap in the market where my new tenants had a bit of a learning curve to discovering amenities that matched their lifestyle needs. Growing up in a generation where 'The Welcome Wagon' played a prominent role in my immigrant family upbringing I wanted to build something that focused on a positive end-user experience when onboarding into a new community.
Dwellcome facilitates that, it's a way for someone to create curated neighborhood guides for someone else to help them get their feet wet in their new neighborhood after moving. At the same time, we know a house doesn't make a home it's the people within it that do. We feel the same way about the communities around us, it's the stores, restaurants, and amenities that make an area very livable.
With Dwellcome we want to support local businesses by giving amenities a platform to be discovered, have a digital presence and be notified when a new resident moves into their area and give them the opportunity to connect with them.
A tech lover with a strong understanding of commercial and financials. I am an entrepreneur by spirit with the curiosity to ask and challenge the status quo in a pursuit to improve and optimize everything I touch. My core belief is that there are endless possibilities, and everything can be achieved. I have a passion to manage people I am a fast self-learner, have excellent communicational skills which help with building relationships with clients, partners, and employees, am technology-oriented, a team player, and approach challenges with creative thinking.

Off the clock, he enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, fitness, and the martial arts.
