Experience Innovation | AI for CX | Customer Journey
Thanks for viewing my profile. I'm a technologist at heart and get pleasure out of seeing clients have success from the solutions we've built together.
Mapping business needs to technical solutions is gratifying, especially when the program goes well and has the desired business impact. At the end of the day, if a program isn't architected to move the needle of interest from the beginning, why do it?
With 20+ years in enterprise software sales, integration, program & product management and marketing, I've built teams, partnerships, developed sales solutions, product roadmaps and overseen complex technical programs. These days, my passion is helping our customers set CX strategies that align to their objectives and drive real business value.

Recruitment Leadership | Talent Acquisition Strategy | Process Optimization | C-Level Advisory | Training and Development
Re-defining how recruitment and hiring teams engage talent globally and clearing the path towards win-win outcomes for candidates and hiring teams. My core function is to foster successful partnerships between recruiters and hiring teams by developing customized roadmaps and tools, unifying objectives, and integrating adaptable people-centric methodologies into the hiring process, where companies can identify and attract better candidates for better hiring decisions, resulting in employer band trust from the talent market.
As a Hiring Process Optimization expert, I counsel on the interdependencies between succinct processes, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention. I specialize in implementing a unified guided approach for organizations through recruitment, interview design, onboarding, and training. While the backbone of a successful hiring process must remain fixed, I cultivate the collaborative efforts and individual proficiencies of all parties that truly impact a company’s culture, quality of the workforce, employer brand, and ultimate success.
Author of "Barnstorming Babe--A Slugger's Bumpy Trek Across Small Town America"
I’m an engaging, empathetic, curious communicator and outside-the-box problem solver.
Since October, 2021, I've been working full-time for Unity Point, delivering and installing home medical equipment. Our products include hospice beds, oxygen concentrators/homefill units/tanks, wheelchairs, and food for people using feeding tubes. Every day is different, and I'm grateful I can help supply a much-need and appreciated service. It's a nice blend of personal contact, driving (sometimes 200 miles a day through the rolling hills of southern Iowa), and physical movement. Electric hospital beds and oxygen tanks are heavy!
In my spare time, I do some wriitng. I just completed editing the third draft of a book about Babe Ruth, Bob Meusel, and their October 1922 midwestern barnstorming tour. Their first stop was in Perry, Iowa, 45 miles from my home. I've previously hosted several blogs, written two articles for The Iowan magazine, and had numerous poems selected for the annual Lyrical Iowa anthology,
My photographs have been displayed at the Iowa State Fair five different times. I even got a 3rd place ribbon in 2021 for a black and white mushroom print I submitted.
Before then, I owned and managed the central Iowa Complete Music franchise for over 25 years. My company was trusted by over 6000 couples to provide quality entertainment for their wedding reception--and we also did over 1000 other corporate and school dances! We successfully launched and marketed three additional revenue streams—Videography, Photography, and a Photo Booth—to supplement our core DJ service. The dynamic and loyal staff I assembled led to a smooth transition in selling our business in early 2013.
