I'm an independent podcast producer and journalist with more than a decade of experience working in digital media, both in editorial and branded content roles. Throughout it all, I've maintained a focus on developing shows and writing stories that spotlight women and underrepresented communities.
My recent production work includes being the Lead Producer on the YouTube podcast, The Upload: The Rise of the Creator Economy (hosted by Brittany Luse). As the Lead, I oversaw all things production and creative for a 5-part miniseries focused on YouTube creators and how they monetize and launch businesses.
I have also developed and launched several other podcasts at networks like: DIVE Studios, an entertainment company featuring K-pop talent, and Girlboss, the media company founded by entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso (a.k.a., the original #Girlboss).
I got my M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and focused my studies on audio/radio.

Theresa Bastian is an Austin based Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE) with extensive experience selling, marketing, and pricing properties. From 2015-2019, I worked through a series of entry-level and management roles in events and hospitality, gaining experience in customer service and project management. I moved into a marketing role as Senior Campaign Marketing Executive for an out-of-home media company. In this role, I was responsible for creating and developing content for internal marketing material and social media. This included the collection, collation, and analysis of campaign reports and statistics for company-wide marketing strategies. These reports were compiled for clients to aid in sales rebook campaigns. Through my time in school and in industry, I gained nearly seven years of relevant, real-world experience.
In March 2021, I joined Selling Simplified Group (SSG) as Marketing Coordinator for the EMEA region. My responsibilities include the setup and execution of marketing campaigns through Visionayr (email marketing & programmatic advertising), paid search, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and more. I’m looking forward to growing and developing my marketing skills and contributing to an innovative global company.
